  Marcus Gottlieb

         St Luke's Road LONDON W11 1DP and Endymion Road LONDON N4 1EE

Marcus spent a decade in the law, a profession that fitted well the emotional deprivation of his 'privileged' education. In his forties he graduated from Spectrum's UCKP accredited training in humanistic, existential and formative psychotherapy. His experience is that boarding schools often produce high achievers who are disconnected from their human vulnerability and dare not enter fully into adult intimacy.

Her work covers a broad spectrum including depression, relationship issues, couples work, PCT referrals, survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, eating disorders, loss, sexuality and racial issues. Some clients are still coping with the effects of being sent away at too young an age. In the belief that we are living in a negative and ‘putting down’ environment, she also runs groups/workshops with parents to enhance their ability to develop more positive methods of communication, leading to greater self esteem for family members, and with teenagers on the frustrations they encounter in life.

         richardtsloan@hotmail.com
Richard holds a BACP accredited Diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling and is a national registered male sexual assault counsellor (NRMSAC).   Erica Cleverly

         Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 3AT
         01380 738156
         erica_cleverly@hotmail.com
Erica Cleverly is an Arts Psychotherapist. After completing her initial degree, she worked in community education before doing her primary psychotherapy training with the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education in Islington. Erica recognises that many people in our culture have not had their creativity supported as children and that this can inhibit people around using the arts freely. She brings to her work the opportunity for clients to reclaim the creative self. Erica works with clients from her private practice in Bath. She brings to her work with ex boarders a deep conviction in the right of the child to be heard. Erica trained with Nick Duffell on the Postgraduate training for working with Boarding School Survivors, and is currently in training with him to facilitate the BSS women’s group work.
